So we went around to see some of the must-have foods for any game session. From the unbeatable hotdog, the noble nachos, and other staples, here are some foods a game wouldn’t be complete without. Including Some of our Favorites from our Deli in Creve Coeur, Mo.

Nachos at Petco Park and Miller Park

Nothing fits a baseball match, tan a tray full of nachos, and a fizzy cold drink to go with. Whether it’s with liquid cheese, jalapenos, chili, or salsa, it is the food for any stage of the match. Honestly, nachos are the moodiest stadium food, and depending on your level of munchies, order them in a combination of flavors or eat them straight up. The Milwaukee Brewers -Miller Park Bratchos come to mind. It’s a devilish blend of Wisconsin favorite—bratwurst, varieties of sausages, sauerkraut, sour cream, and Nacho cheese. Another tasty nacho snack is the Tri-tip nachos at San Diego Padres Petco Park. They are freshly made on a plate to make for a memorable culinary experience at a ballpark.

Chicken and waffle boat at Trust Park

Among southern comfort foods, nothing ranks higher than chicken with waffles, so it’s no surprise it made our list. Picture this, waffles dripping with sweet syrupy goodness and savory fried chicken. Doesn’t make sense until you take the first bite. It comes in a boat of deboned chicken in hot mango habanero sauce. You can top it up with honey and sliced pecans just because you can and experience an actual explosion of flavors. Throw in a side of fries, and you’ll find yourself at the stadium’s concession stands even when your teams are not there.

The Fenway Frank at Fenway Park

There is plenty on offer at any Boston Red Sox. But look around, and you will probably see most people with the legendary Fenway Frank hotdog. It has been sold since the stadium opened its doors in 1912, and now, it has acquired a legendary, if not a superstitious, status for some people. It is your typical dog well made to a specific tenderness, flavor, and texture served with your favorite condiments on a split top dog roll. All flavors are a blast, and you can’t go wrong with it whichever way you choose to dress.

Tres Leches Milkshake at Yankee Stadium

Of course, this list isn’t complete without a drink to wash down the flavors. The Tres Leches Milkshake combines milk, vanilla ice cream, pieces of cake, and churro to make for a glass of pure sweetness. You get your glass to go with as a souvenir, but I promise you will be haunted by memories of this drink every time you see the glass.
